QWill each cabin have private amenities at opening?
Yes. Each cabin is planned to have its own private wellness amenities at opening.
This includes a private hot tub, sauna, cold plunge, outdoor lounge space, fire pit, outdoor shower, and grill area.
QWhere is Beyond the Cabin located?
Beyond the Cabin is located in Oakland, Maryland, near Western Trails on the southwest side of Deep Creek Lake.
Western Trails is located at 4009 Mayhew Inn Rd, Oakland, MD 21550. This is not the retreat address, but it gives you a helpful sense of the general area.
We’re about 15 minutes from Deep Creek Lake and Wisp Resort, and about 17 minutes from Swallow Falls State Park.
As we get closer to opening, all guests will receive the exact property address, arrival instructions, and important stay details well before their visit.
QDo I choose my dates during pre-booking?
No. During pre-booking, you choose your package, cabin, and any available experiences.
You choose your exact stay dates later during your August 2026 booking window.

QWhat if I’m not sure about my schedule yet?
That’s okay. You’ll have flexible scheduling.
When your booking window opens, you can choose from future stay dates, with VIP booking availability continuing into 2028 and 2029.
QWhat is the refund policy?
Your reservation is fully refundable through September 30, 2026.
After that, it becomes a flexible stay credit. You can use it for a future stay, gift it to a friend, or transfer it to someone else.
QWhat do I need to decide before pre-booking?
It helps to choose the package that feels right for you: Single Retreat, Retreat Twice, or Property Buyout.
You can also look at the cabins and available experiences so you feel ready when pre-booking opens.

After you reserve, you will receive a confirmation and guest portal access.
